Mad Dog Good Luck Mate

Having spent the day having a few beers ( well quite a few )with Mad Dog and him a few extra Sambuca's on the party boat to Chelsea on Saturday I learnt he is going in hospital today for an 'OP ' for the dreaded C - not life threatening I would add since it was caught early but good luck mate hope all goes well .😷⚒👍

Take it easy for a while. Keep the pain meds to hand and consider buying moist towelettes.

Home and pain free (possibly due to narcotics)

Nice one Stomp, glad to hear that....long may it continue. Yeah things ok this end...had some good news a couple of weeks ago. After being constantly told that an operation was very much unlikely and looked like chemo for ever, I am now going in for an op in the very near future...gonna have a go at the bowel and bladder as nodules have all but vanished, so they reckon safe to do so....8 hours under the knife apparently!!

Not bad at all. My mets were getting bigger so my doc put me on a newly released drug called Nivomalab it was only give permission to use on Kidney cancer a month ago. It cuts of blood supply to the tumour and increase the bodies instinct to kill
No results yet. I'll have get a scan in a month or so then we'll see if it works
But NO SIDE EFFECTS (yet)

I dont know about the UK but, In the US they ask you to rate your pain on a scale of 1-10. If you say over 5 they can give you morphine
